Crown places the club “on the third floor of Crown Towers Melbourne” and describes polished interiors, high ceilings, concierge service, champagne, complimentary breakfast on the outdoor terrace and evening canapés. For guests whose package includes it, the club is also where check-in happens.
Two timetables
| Crystal Club page | Crown Towers FAQ | |
|---|---|---|
| Open | 7am – 9:30pm daily | 6:30am – 9:30pm daily |
| Breakfast, weekdays | 7 – 10:30am (Mon–Fri) | 6:30 – 11am |
| Breakfast, weekends | 7 – 11am (Sat–Sun) | 7am – 12pm |
| Afternoon tea | 2 – 4pm | 2 – 4pm daily |
| Evening | Pre-dinner drinks 5:30 – 7:30pm | Drinks and canapés 5 – 7:30pm |
Afternoon tea is the only service on which the two pages agree. A guest planning breakfast at 6:45am or arriving for drinks at 5pm should ask which timetable is current; the request desk does so when the club is part of a stay.
What is included
- Personalised check-in at the club for guests whose booking includes it.
- Breakfast, afternoon tea, pre-dinner drinks and canapés at the published times.
- Wireless internet, tea, coffee and soft drinks throughout the stay (hotel FAQ).
- Valet parking, but only in packages Crown calls “Crystal Made” (hotel FAQ).
- For business guests: intimate meeting rooms, an executive boardroom and a dedicated business centre executive.
Access bought separately
| Guest | Monday to Thursday | Friday to Sunday |
|---|---|---|
| Adult | $160 per person | $175 per person |
| Child aged 4–12 | $80 | $88 |
| Child aged 3 and under | No charge | No charge |
These prices are a reference point for judging the Executive Club Suite, which includes access for two. A couple staying Friday and Saturday nights would pay $350 a night for two adults' access on the published scale — the figure to set against the price difference between the Executive Suite and the Executive Club Suite on the same dates.
Dress code
Smart casual. Crown's staff “will decline entry if clothing is deemed too casual or inappropriate”, and the page lists, without limiting itself to them:
- bare feet or thongs;
- swimwear, including board shorts and bathers;
- sleepwear, including robes and slippers;
- clothing with offensive images or slogans;
- revealing, unkempt, ripped or torn clothing.
The robe-and-slippers rule matters on Level 3, where the pool and spa share the floor: change before walking across to the club.
