Crown's page for the Deluxe King places it on “level 5 to 18” and describes an oversized bathroom with double marble vanities, a deep soaking bath with television, a separate shower, a walk-in dressing room and current in-room technology. At 43 m², it is the same floor area as the Premier King; the published difference between the two lies in the description of views and windows, not in size.

Who it suits

Two adults on a short city stay, a business traveller who wants the desk and the bath rather than a lounge, and pairs of travellers who need two rooms side by side — this is one of the categories where Crown lists a connecting room as available on request. It does not list a roll-away bed, so a third guest points towards the Deluxe Twin or a suite.

The view question

“Bay or city views” is the whole of the published promise. Within the 5–18 band, a lower floor and a higher floor will look different, and the river side differs from the city side. None of that is guaranteed on this category; the request form has a notes field for exactly this, and the desk passes the preference on.
