Tools at Crown
Crown's PlaySafe programme lists a self-assessment, a PlaySafe Centre that can be visited in person, self-exclusion, third-party exclusion and the YourPlay pre-commitment system. Crown now requires a card for gaming and that card allows time and loss limits. Crown also applies limits of 12 hours a day and 36 hours a week on time spent gambling.
When it is someone else's gambling
The Victorian Department of Health points people affected by a partner's, parent's or friend's gambling to the same number, Gambler's Help on 1800 858 858, for free and confidential information, advice and support. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people can call the same line for support, and people under 25 can use the Youthline on 1800 262 376. Crown's third-party exclusion process exists for families concerned about someone who gambles at Crown.
