From Level 29 to the ballroom: events at Crown Towers
Two of Crown's event spaces are described as part of Crown Towers: Horizon on Level 29 and the Palladium ballroom. Guests of either often need rooms upstairs.

Horizon, Level 29
Horizon is the highest published floor in the tower and the only one above the guest-room bands that Crown names. It is a space for up to 120 standing or 100 seated, presented as Crown's newest luxury events room. For a wedding party staying in the hotel, it means the reception is a lift ride from the rooms.
Palladium
Crown calls the Palladium “the largest hotel Ballroom in Australia” — the operator's description — and places it in Crown Towers. It holds up to 2,500 standing or 1,500 seated, has no pillars and a seven-metre ceiling, and can be divided for 220 to 360 or 360 to 650 guests. Crown's information page says it hosts many of Australia's large corporate and gala events.
Terms worth knowing early
- A date can be held for 14 days without obligation. After that, Crown asks for a signed contract and a deposit of 10 per cent of the estimated cost or $2,000, whichever is greater.
- No outside food or drink is allowed, with wedding cakes as the exception.
- Spirits may be brought to supplement a Crown beverage package, with a corkage fee and a limit of one 750 mL bottle per 10 adults.
- Crown's events team is on +61 3 9292 6235.
Meetings without a ballroom
For smaller business needs, the Crown Towers Business Centre can be booked with catering and seats up to 12, and the Crystal Club offers meeting rooms and an executive boardroom with a business centre executive.
Awards Crown lists
Crown's weddings page lists two Australian Wedding Industry Awards for 2024 — Wedding Venue 4–5 Star Hotel and Boutique Wedding Accommodation, both for Crown Towers — and Australian Bridal Industry Academy awards for Hotel Reception of the Year in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2023 and 2025.
Rooms for the party
The request form takes one stay at a time. For a group, send the main dates with “Wedding or function at Crown” as the reason and the number of rooms in the notes; the desk asks the hotel how it handles a block for the event and replies with what it confirms. Twin rooms for families are on the Deluxe Twin and Premier Twin pages.
