Note 01
Choosing a floor at Crown Towers
Height is the one thing many guests care about that a booking engine rarely sells. At Crown Towers, half the categories put it in writing.

A room on a high floor of a riverside tower is not a luxury most hotels will guarantee. They will note it, try for it, and decide on the day. Crown Towers is a partial exception: four of its eight published room categories carry a floor band on their official page. Reading those bands carefully tells a guest what can be chosen at the moment of booking and what can only be asked for.
The four written bands
| Category | Published floor | What that settles |
|---|---|---|
| Deluxe King, Deluxe Twin | Levels 5 to 18 | A ceiling as well as a floor: these rooms are never above 18 |
| Premier Twin | Levels 19 to 28 | The upper band; the only standard category placed there |
| Studio | Level 8 or above | A minimum only; no upper limit is printed |
| Premier Suite | Levels 5 to 18 | The largest published room sits in the lower band |
Two conclusions are firm. A family choosing a twin room is choosing height when it chooses between Deluxe Twin and Premier Twin, since the rooms are otherwise described identically — 51 m², two queen beds, up to four guests. And anyone who wants the highest published standard room should name the Premier Twin, not a king room.
The four silent categories
Premier King, Executive Suite, Executive Club Suite and the Villas have no floor on their pages. It would be easy to assume that “Premier” means high, as it does for the twin rooms, or that suites sit above standard rooms. The Premier Suite's placement on levels 5 to 18 is a warning against both assumptions. This guide treats the silent categories as exactly that: unknown until the hotel says otherwise.
Asking well
- Name the preference plainly in the notes: “high floor”, “river side”, “away from the lifts”.
- Give a reason if there is one — a first visit, an occasion, a view for the fire shows. The desk includes it with the request.
- For a twin room where height matters, request the Premier Twin rather than hoping for an upgrade from the Deluxe band.
- Expect the reply to separate what is confirmed from what is noted. The desk's reply does.
What height does not change
The room itself. Every category lists the same bathroom — deep soaking bath with a television in the wall, double vanities, rain shower, dressing room — and the same desk, bar and technology. Crown also states that each room is unique and that images, views and floor plans are indicative. A guest choosing height is choosing the window, nothing more.
Above the guest bands, Level 29 holds Horizon, Crown's events space for up to 120 people. It is the highest floor Crown names anywhere in the tower.
